Rediscover teamwork
Building the
Knowledge Teams of tomorrow at today's coolest
eco-sports destination
In today's corporate environment, it is not enough just
to have a group of individuals working towards a common
goal. The challenges of the marketplace has given birth
to a new breed of team player, one who is not just adept
at this own disciplines, but who works to complement the
dynamics of the team he operates in to both maximise its
performance and the potential of each individual member.
Corporations looking to build Knowledge Teams consisting
of such individuals will be delighted to learn that the
Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC) has
designed a unique Knowledge Team Building Programme for
exactly that purpose.
Called the SHRDC - Awana Domino Race Knowledge Team
Building Programme - Learning on the Run, this special
training will be conducted at Awana Genting Highlands
Golf & Country Resort, a highlands sanctuary located at
3,000 feet above sea level. The Resort's mix of cool,
refreshing environments, challenging natural landscapes
and wide range of team-building and eco-sports
facilities make it a highly-conducive venue for
corporate training programmes.
Not
just another team-building programme
The SHRDC - Awana Domino Race Knowledge Team
Building Programme - Learning on the Run was created to
guide indviduals towards developing, nurturing and
sustaining capable Knowledge Teams with the ideal mix of
components and qualities to achieve an extraordinary
level of performance.
As
such, some of the topics that will be covered in the
programme include:
-
What are the four levels of performance?
-
What are the vital components of a team or
organisation?
-
What makes a team or organisation extraordinary?
-
How
do you establish a team charter?
-
What is learning spirit, and how does it affect team
performance?
-
What are the ten qualities of an extraordinary team?
-
How
do you develop an Action Learning Project?
You'll
discover the answers to these questions and more through
a mix of insightful dialogues, intense discussions,
engaging role-play and exciting outdoor challenges
including:
Mini-Extreme
A pulse-pounding challenge where teams race to complete
four high-octane activities, namely archery, abseiling,
rock-climbing and a squash match!
Minefield
Teams are required to put their mental alertness and
deduction abilities to the test by determining how to
cross a "minefield" based on a set of parameters without
sustaining casualties!
Crocodile Pit
A pit infested with hungry crocodiles stands between the
teams and ultimate glory! Teams must race against time
to find the right tools and resources that will help
them get across to victory!
DOMINO Creation
Each team will have to build a domino design that
represents their Project Action Plan, while also working
closely with the rival teams to create a Group domino!
This is one game where everyone wins... or loses! |
